Stakeholder Mapping
A powerful tool to gain deep insights in the structure of the ecosystem.
Goal
Stakeholder mapping is used to illustrate which stakeholders are connected, and how they influence each other. It helps you to discover ways to influence stakeholders, to discover risk, and to discover positive stakeholders to involve in the design process.
Materials
Instructions
First, decide what stakeholders to focus on. After, the stakeholders are categorized based on their importance and possible influence. By plotting them in a stakeholder map, you will generate an overview of how different stakeholders are of importance to your organization, and how they might influence each other.
