[DIY] What is your favorite color? Card Game
Short sequence to get some insights about our own behavioral trends, identify the need to adapt our communication with others, and reflect in group around the concept of behavioral flexibility. This is the Card Game sequence, that can complement the nominal "What is your favorite color? sequence" Method.
Goal
- This is a Card Game that can complement the DISC-inspired sequence "[DIY] What is your favorite color?", that was focusing on our main behavioral trends;
- Reflect in group around the concept of behavioral flexibility, through gaming.
Prerequisite:
- Team members should know the meaning of each Letter/Color.
- For small groups only (5-10 max).
Materials
Instructions
1. Step 1
- Distribute randomly (or not) one D - I - S - C Letter to each participant.
The facilitator, aware of the main Letter of the participants, can decide to shuffle voluntarily the Letters (e.g. one "D" participant can have to play the opposite diagonal Letter "S" on purpose)
- Distribute randomly (or not) one job title per participant.
- Pick randomly (or not) one situation to be tackled.
2. Step 2
Play the situation: each participant will act/react according to their Job Title and main Behavioral Style to best tackle the Situation.
Recommendations:
- Have fun!
- This is an actor role play: pushing the stereotypes can be really demonstrative (always ensure a benevolent & respectful ambience).

Thank you for the agenda - I used the DISC Play roles game by customizing and simplifying it : Sub-group of 5 people : 1 Manager / 1 HR / 2 Employees (and 1 Observer) - 4mn-round playing a meeting to announce a new organisation within the team - Participants are expected to allocate DISC colors to each role and play it. Last round of 2mn is to share feedbacks/observations
